A furniture maker who signs every piece with a small brass plate set into the edge of the case. The plate is nine millimeters tall. Everything else about the identity was downstream of that.
A corner joint: one thick arm, one thin, meeting as a single closed shape rather than two interlocking pieces, because engraving at that size cannot hold a hairline gap. Above forty millimeters the gap opens up and the joint reads as two parts; there are two drawings and the rule sheet says exactly where to switch.
The only other things delivered were a stamp for the calico dust sheets and one line of type.
