Three shops, one oven, and a name everyone in the neighborhood already used. The mark had to be stamped into paper bags while they were still warm, screened onto a window in one color, and cut into a brass plate beside the door of the original shop.
A chestnut split open, reduced as far as it would go: one rounded solid, faceted the way the shell actually breaks, cut across by a single bar. It arrived on the eleventh sheet of roughs and survived because the bar is wide enough that the bag stamp does not fill it in after two hundred impressions. The logotype sits at half the symbol's height, so the horizontal lockup fits a shop awning without redrawing.
Delivered with a one-page rule sheet and a favicon drawn separately, because the bar closes up below sixteen pixels and needed its own version.
